Hello, my name is Evi. I am the proud owner and Personal Stylist and Colour Consultant at Style Boost. I am mama of a girl and a boy and our family has loved living in Brighton since 2018.
I have always had a passion for fashion. As a child, I would spend hours arranging the clothes in my wardrobe. My mum, sisters and friends would always ask my advice when out on shopping trips. I did my first course on colour and style in Belgium, where I am originally from, and since then I have never looked back.
As a qualified linguist, I have travelled across Europe, observing and understanding different fashion styles wherever I lived, before settling in the UK in 2006 where I then worked in the charity sector for 10 years.
When I was on maternity leave with my youngest, there were a lot of changes in my organisation and I felt that maybe I should move on. One day I got an e-mail from Colour Me Beautiful, about becoming an Image Consultant. This was a course I had been interested in doing for years, but had never considered it a priority. However, this time, I thought, "if I don't do it now, I never will." I loved the course so much that I resigned from my job and set up Style Boost in 2017.
I am passionate about helping mums because having children has definitely changed the way I dress and buy clothes. When talking to other mums, I realised that they had the same challenges as me.
It is not only the clothes that don't fit anymore - your lifestyle and your identity changes when you become a parent.
Finding your style is an ongoing process as you rediscover the 'new you'. I love helping my clients at every stage of this journey, so they can dress with confidence, whatever the occasion.
